In 2020 London born Kadeema Woodbyrne, an Artist and Social Entrepreneur with a love for painting, spent months working with the most talented Tanzania artists. Inspired by the talent of local artists in Tanzania creating; fine, contemporary and traditional Tanzanian art, to learn the history and techniques. She worked as an understudy being taught the craft and the traditional community ideology, Ujamaa a Swahili word for extended family. Deciding to showcase her own art, the art of her Tanzanian friends this was the foundation for Ujamaa International a Limited company working with artists. This was the starting point for travelling to, exploring, collecting art in other parts of Africa, venturing to Eurasia, the Caribbean, while continuing to define her own art.  Setting the ethos in being united to inspire and present authentic art by the people that make it. Our work involves making visible, the incredible yet unknown, new, and emerging artists alongside classic, well-established pieces. By providing a space in which to display their works including her and their latest works, sharing their creative aspirations with a wider audience creating worthy value for artwork across the globe.
